Public sector refineries are located at Digiboi, Guwahati, Bongaigagon, Barauni, Haldia, Koyali, Mathura, Kochi, Chennai, Vishakapatnam, Mumbai, Panipat, Narimanam, Numanigarh and Tatipaka. Joint sector refinery is at Manglore. The private sector refinery of Reliance Limited is at Jamnagar
